This project was situated in Blackheath, London area and was certainly one of the largest and most challenging projects we have done so far.
Work included removing the roof and everything throughout inside to drop the floors and make room for a new Velux Loft in the roof. We dropped the floors by 220mm in the ground and first floor to achieve our required height. Installed steel beams to support the new roof and loft floor/ ceiling, steel beams to support the new first floor to make way for open plan ground floor lounge and build a new front porch for air separation.
We removed the old UPVC Windows and replaced them with new Accoya Hardwood Sash windows, new larger kitchen supplied by Wren with Granite worktop from Jasper Kitchens, new Oak lacquered flooring for the first floor and Loft, reclaimed flooring for the ground floor by recycling the old existing floor boards. Tiles for the bathroom and Kitchen from Top’s Tiles, a new lavatory under the stairs and main bathroom was moved up to first floor when originally was next to the kitchen in the ground floor extension. Fire rated plasterboard’s in all 3 ceilings and for decorating Dulux Dimond Mat paint internally through out and Dulux eggshell for the bathroom and kitchen.
Check out the picture for a an illustration of the job as it moved along. We were able complete and hand over in just over 13 weeks from start to finish.
